DIY Necklace Holder

Hey babes! Soy Ana. ¿Qué tal todo? Hoy os traigo un DIY que hice hace un par de semanas. Se trata de un corcho en el que colgar todos tus colgantes para tenerlos a la vista. La verdad es que llevaba un tiempo con esta idea ya que no tenía todos mis colgantes en un mismo sitio y no sabía como organizarlos (era un desastre jajaja). Así que ahora os voy a enseñar como hacerlo. Es súper fácil! Si yo he podido hacerlo os aseguro que todo el mundo puede jajaja además estoy muy contenta con el resultado :)

Hey babes! I'm Ana. How are you? Today I'm going to show you a DIY I did some weeks ago. It's cork board to hold your necklaces. The truth is I've been thinking of this idea for a long time because all my necklaces weren't in the same place and I didn't know how to organise them (it was a mess hahaha). So now I'm going to show how to do it. It's super easy! If I was capable of do it I can assure you everyone can hahaha also I'm so happy with the result :)


1. Coge algunas revistas y recorta tus imágenes favoritas. Yo he buscado sobre todo imágenes que me inspiraran, pero puedes recortar cualquier tipo de imagen. // Take some magazines and cut out you favourite photos. I've looked for some images that inspire me but you can cut any type of photos.

2. Ahora coge todas las fotos que has recortado y colócalas en el corcho. Puedes ir probando distintas combinaciones para ajustar bien todas las fotos. Esto fue lo que más tardé en hacer por que hay que intentar que cuadren bien todas las imágenes. // So now take all your photos and place them on the cork board. You can try different combinations to adjust all the photos to the board. This took me some time bacause I tried to place the photos in the right position so all of them fit in the board.

3. Ahora coloca las chinchetas para sujetar las fotos. Yo utilicé unas chinchetas en las que sobresalía la punta para poder colgar los colgantes. No hay ningún orden para colocar las chinchetas, simplemente ponlas para sujetar las imágenes. Después cuelga tus colgantes. // Now place the thumbtacks to secure the photos. I used some thumbtacks whose end stand out of the board to hold the necklaces. There is no order no place the thumbtacks, you just secure the images. Then hold your necklaces.

4. Por último cuelga el corcho donde más te guste. Yo lo he colgado en mi habitación y me encanta! // The last step is to hang the board wherever you like. I hung it in my room and I just love it!

ALL BLACK

Hey babes! Soy Ana. ¿Qué tal vuestra semana? :) Hoy quería enseñaros un look que fotografié el otro día. La chaqueta es el elemento principal y me encanta! (aunque es de mi hermana jajaja). La verdad es que la compró en Primark y estaba muy bien de precio. Los pantalones los compré en Londres en Forever 21 y sientan muy bien. Son mis pantalones favoritos, además fueron súper baratos. Llevo unos botines en las fotos pero también me lo he puesto con unas converse blancas para ir más cómoda a la universidad y la verdad es que queda igual de bien. Espero que os guste! Y muchas gracias a mi amiga Marta por hacerme las fotos ;)

Hey babes! I'm Ana. How are you doing this week? :) Today I wanted to show you a look I worn last week. The jacket is the main piece and I love it! (although it's my sister's jacket hahaha). She bought it in Primark for a really good price. I bought the jeans in London in Forever 21 and they fit really well. They're now my favourite jeans and also the were really cheap. In the photos I wear some booties but I've worn it with some white converse to go more comfortable to university and it looks really good too. I hope you like it! And thanks to my friend Marta who took the pictures! ;)

Hey babes! ¿Cómo estáis? Soy Bàrbara y hoy, como hizo Ana hace unos días, os voy a hablar de la música, libros, películas y series que más me han gustado últimamente. 

Hey babes! How’re you doing? It’s Bàrbara and today I want to talk about the music, books, films and series I’ve been loving lately, like Ana did some days ago.

MÚSICA / MUSIC

Thinking Out Loud de Ed Sheeran, uno de mis cantantes favoritos. No me canso de esta canción, me encanta. // He is one of my favorite singers and I just can’t get over this song.

Take Me To Church de Hozier: la descubrí hace unos días y estoy obsesionadísima! // I discovered this song a few days ago and I’m so obsessed.

  

Two Door Cinema Club: les empecé a escuchar hace poco y me están gustando mucho. Especialmente canciones como Changing of the seasons o Cigarettes in the Theatre. // I started listening to them not very long ago and I’m really liking them. Especially songs like Changing of the seasons or Cigarettes in the Theatre

Echosmith: también son de mis últimos descubrimientos. Las canciones que más me gustan ahora mismo son Bright y March Into The Sun // They are also one of my latest discoveries. The songs I like the most are Bright and March Into The Sun.

Bastille: hace ya unos años que les adoro, nunca me cansaré de la primera de sus canción que escuche: Flaws. // I’ve been adoring them for some years now and I’ll never get tired of Flaws.

 

¡Me encanta ir descubriendo música nueva, así que si hay alguna canción o grupo que queráis recomendarme me encantará escucharlo! :)

LIBROS / BOOKS

The Perks of Being a Wallflower (Stephen Chobsky): Este libro es precioso, es divertido y triste a la vez y te enamoras de los personajes. Lo leí ahora hará un año y ya estoy pensando en volverlo a leer (releer libros no es algo que haga muy a menudo así que dice mucho del libro! ) // This book is beautiful, funny and sad at the same time. You can’t help but falling in love with the characters and it’s full of inspiring quotes. I read it a year ago and I’ll probably reread it soon and rereading books is not something I do very often!

The Fault in Our Stars (Jhon Green): ya sé que es muy típico, pero es que me encanta. Es el primer y único libro que me ha hecho llorar. Lo recomiendo totalmente ya que no es la típica historia de amor adolescente perfecta de la mayoría de libros. // I know almost everybody has already talked about it, but I love it! It’s the first and only book that has ever made me cry. I totally recommend it because it’s not the typical perfect teen love story.

Forgotten (Cat Patrick): lo leí hace tiempo y he oído que pronto van a sacar la peli. Es una historia muy original y diferente, la protagonista es una chica que olvida lo que vive pero puede “recordar” el futuro. // I read it a while ago and I’ve heard the movie is coming out soon. It’s such a different story, the main character is a girl who forgets what she lives but can “remember” the future.

PELÍCULAS / MOVIES

En este apartado voy a tener que copiar a Ana! Adoro dos de las pelis que ella escogió y las dos las vi con ella este verano. // I’ll have to pick some of the films Ana picked on her post! I adore two of the films she talked about and I actually saw them with her this summer.

Bajo la Misma Estrella / The Fault in Our Stars: Como dijo Ana lloramos las dos muchísimo durante casi toda la peli y me encantó! Es muy fiel al libro y encima los actores me parecen ideales para sus papeles. // Like Ana said we cried a lot almost during the whole film and I loved it! It’s so true to the book and the actors are just perfect for the characters.

Frozen: es genial y sí, yo también me se todas las canciones! // It’s amazing and yes, I know the lyrics to all of the songs!

SERIES

The Carrie Diaries: en menos de dos semanas vi las dos primeras temporadas de la serie y me encantó. Veía un capítulo detrás de otro! Realmente es una lástima que la cancelaran y no se vaya a hacer una tercera temporada. //I watched the two first seasons in less than two weeks. I just kept watching one episode after the other! I’m so sad they are not doing any more seasons.

Ahora estoy pensado que serie empezar a ver y creo que va a ser Teen Wolf. // Now I’m deciding which series I'll watch next and I reckon it’ll be Teen Wolf.
