CANNES FESTIVAL 2015

Hey babes! Soy Ana. ¿Qué tal todo? Hoy os traigo un post sobre el Festival de Cine de Cannes. Este año ha habido unos looks preciosos en la alfombra roja. Yo he recogido mis favoritos en estos collages. ¿Cuál es el vuestro?

Hey babes! It's Ana. How you're doing? Today I have for you a post about Cannes Festival. This year there have been some gorgeous looks walking the red carpet. Here I have my favourites in some collages. What's your favourite?

ELIE SAAB DRESSES

Nieves Álvarez, Kristina Bazan, Toni Garrn and Naomi Watts in Elie Saab dresses

!Me encantan los vestido de Elie Saab! Todavía no he visto ninguno que no me haya gustado. En este festival fue una de las marcas más elegidas a la hora de escoger vestido.

I love Elie Saab dresses! I haven't seen any dress that I didn't like. In this festival it was one of the most chosen brands by celebrities. 

DOUTZEN KROES

Atelier Versace, Dior, Mugler

La modelo Doutzen Kroes estaba guapísima con los tres vestidos elegidos. Le quedaban genial y fue una de mis favoritas en la alfombra roja.

The model Doutzen Kroes was simply gorgeous in all three dresses. They fit her perfectly well. She was one of my favourites of the red carpet. 

BLACK

Cate Blanchett (Armani Privé), Kendall Jenner (Alaïa), Sara Sampaio (Vionnet)

Estos fueron mis tres looks favoritos de negro. Cate Blanchett iba muy elegante (como siempre jajaja). El vestido de Sara Sampaio es precioso y le queda genial. El modelo de Kendall Jenner no fue el habitual pero aún así triunfó.

This were my three favourite black looks. Cate Blanchett was really elegant (as always hahaha). Sara Sampaio's dress was amazing and it she wore it perfectly well. Kendall Jenner's look was not the usual one but she looked really pretty.

WHITE

Joan Smalls (Azzedine Alaïa), Emma Stone (Christian Dior Couture), Diane Kruger (Prada)

El blanco también fue uno de los colores triunfadores en Cannes. Emma Stone estaba guapísima con su vestido y fue una de las más alabadas. Diane Kruger estuvo tan guapa como siempre y a Joan Smalls le sentaba genial el modelo que escogió.

White was one of the winning colours of Cannes. Emma Stone was stunning with her dress and was one of the most admired. Diane Kruger was as beautiful as always and Joan Smalls' look was amazing.

ELEGANT

Nikki Reed (Azzaro), Cate Blanchett (Giles)

Para mí, Nikki Reed y Cate Blanchett fueron las más elegantes. Los vestidos que escogieron eran preciosos y los llevaron de manera perfecta. 

For me, Nikki Reed and Cate Blanchett were the most elegant. The dresses were beautiful and they wore them amazingly well.

VARIOUS

Lupita Nyong'o (Gucci), Poppy Delenvigne (Burberry), Karlie Kloss (Louis Vuitton)

Lupita Nyong'o fue una de las más destacadas con su precioso vestido verde. Poppy Delenvigne y Karlie Kloss fueron muy acertadas también.

Lupita Nyong'o was one of the most outstanding with her beautiful green dress. Poppy Delenvigne and Karlie Kloss were beautiful too.

CANNES PHOTOCALL

Emily Blunt (Peter Pilotto), Rooney Mara (Alexander McQueen), Diane Kruger (Dolce&Gabanna), Rachel Weisz (Narciso Rodriguez)

En las presentaciones de sus respectivas películas las cuatro actrices fueron perfectas. Me encanta el conjunto de Emily Blunt y el mono de Rachel Weisz. 

In the public presentation of their films the four actresses were perfect. I love Emily Blunt's look and Rachel Weisz's jumpsuit.

Mis favoritas son Douzten Kroes, que va guapísima, Sara Sampaio con ese recogido y los labios rojos y Bar Rafaeli con ese maquillaje tan natural.

My favourites are Doutzen Kroes because she looks gorgeous, Sara Sampaio with that beautiful hairstyle and her red lips, and Bar Rafaeli with that natural make up.

INSPIRATION - SPRING LOOKS (Part 2)

Hey babes!  Soy Ana. ¿Qué tal vuestra semana? Lo primero pediros disculpas por no haber podido actualizar antes, pero esta semana me ha resultado imposible… Hoy os traigo la segunda parte de inspiración de looks de primavera. Hace unas semanas hice la primera parte y como tenía tantas fotos pues hoy os traigo la segunda :) Aunque ahora en Madrid ya hemos tenido días de mucho calor (tanto que parecía pleno verano) espero que estas fotos con ropa más primaveral os sirvan igualmente :)

First of all I’d like to apologize for not being able to upload a post before, I had a lot of things to do this week and I couldn’t… But today I have the second part of spring looks inspiration. Some weeks ago I did the first part but as I had a lot of photos, today I bring you the second one :) Now in Madrid we had some really hot days (it felt like summer) but I hope these looks inspire you although they are more for spring :)

9 Reasons to watch Gossip Girl

Hey babes! Soy Ana. ¿Qué tal vuestra semana? Hoy quería hablaros de la serie Gossip Girl. Seguro que habéis oído hablar de ella, así que hoy quería hacer un post sobre razones para ver Gossip Girl. Yo me he visto ya toda la serie y la verdad es que me gustó mucho :) Tengo que admitir que soy bastante “seriéfila” y en cuanto me acabo una serie me empiezo otra jajajaja Tengo una lista enorme de series pendientes! Pero bueno, aquí os dejo mi lista de razones para ver Gossip Girl.

Hey babes! It’s Ana. How’s your week going? Today I wanted to talk about Gossip Girl. I’m sure you’ve heard of this series before, so today I wanted to write a post about some reasons to watch it. I’ve already watched all seasons and I really like it :) I have to admit that I’m a series freak and when I finish watching a series I quickly start another hahaha. I have a very long list of series to watch! But anyways, here I leave you my list of reasons to watch Gossip Girl.

1.  Nueva York. La serie narra la vida sobre un grupo de jóvenes de la élite de Manhattan así que en todos los capítulos se muestran rincones emblemáticos de Nueva York, como las escaleras del MET o el hotel Empire. Si antes ya tenía ganas de ir a Nueva York, al terminar la serie quería ir inmediatamente jajajajaj  //   New York. The series tells the story of some young people who belongs to Manhattan’s elite, so all episodes show some important corners of New York, such as the MET stairs or the Empire Hotel. After watching it the only thing I wanted to do was going to New York! Hahahaha

     2.  Moda. Nunca me cansaré de ver los looks que llevan los personajes en cada capítulo. ¡Me gustaban todos! La ropa es uno de los grandes logros de la serie y es una de las razones por la que merece verla.  //       Fashion. I’ll never get tired of seeing the looks each character wears in each episode. I loved them all! The outfits are a big part of the show and they’re amazing, so for me this is another reason to watch it.

          3.  Relación de Blair y Chuck. ¡Eran mi pareja favorita de la serie! La verdad es que pasan por muchos altibajos a lo largo de todas las temporadas y no siempre es una relación buena, pero para mí hacen la pareja perfecta.  //   Blair and Chuck's relationship. They were my favourite couple in the series! They have a lot of ups and downs in all seasons and not always it's a good relationship, but for me they are the perfect couple. 

      4. Gossip Girl. La gran incógnita de la serie es descubrir la verdadera identidad de Gossip Girl, que es una persona que cuelga en la red los cotilleos de todo el mundo. Te mantienen con la intriga hasta el final del todo!  //   Gossip Girl. The big mystery of the series is to find out the real identity of Gossip Girl, which is a person who upload all kind of gossips to a website about everyone. They keep you with the intrigue till the end!

     5. Chicos. Yo creo que al final te acabas enamorando de todos jajajaja. Mi favorito es Nate (Chace Crawford) porque su personaje me encanta y encima es guapísimo! ;) También me encanta Chuck (Ed Westick), que al principio es el “chico malo”. Y luego está Dan (Penn Badgley), el chico de Brooklyn que también tiene su encanto :)  //  Boys. I think you end up falling in love with all of them hahahaha. My favourite is Nate (Chace Crawford)because I love his character and he is soooo hansome! ;) I also love Chuck (Ed Westick), who at first is 'the bad guy'. And then there's Dan (Penn Badgley), the Brooklyn boy who is also charming :)

     6. Relación de amistad entre Serena (Blake Lively) y Blair (Leighton Meester). Puede parecer una amistad un poco rara, sobre todo al principio, pero según van pasando capítulos te das cuenta de que es una verdadera amistad. Son capaces de darlo todo la una por la otra y eso es muy admirable.  //  Frienship between Serena (Blake Lively) and Blair (Leighton Meester). It might seem a strange friendship, especially at first, but when you keep going through the episodes you realize it's a real friendship. They give everything one for the other and that is admirable. 

     7.  Fiestas. En cada capítulo hay una fiesta, siempre se está celebrando algo en el Upper East Side. Lo mejor son los vestidos que llevan. Cada vez me gustaban más! Aquí os dejo mis favoritos :)  //  Parties. In each episode there's a party, they are always celebrating something in the Upper East Side. The best part of it are the dresses they wear. I loved them all! Here I leave you my favourties :)

    8. Blair Waldorf. Me encanta este personaje. A pesar de lo mala que puede llegar a ser a veces, es una mujer luchadora que no necesita ningún hombre para conseguir lo que quiere y llevar su negocio. Muchas de sus frases son geniales!. Aquí os dejo algunas.  //  Blair Waldorf. I love this character. Even though the evil she can be, she's a fighter and doesn't need a man to get what she wants or to run her business. A lot of her quotes are great! Here I leave you some of them.

   9. Gran cantidad de tramas. Es una serie en la que pasan muchas cosas en cada capítulo. Una de las cosas que más me gustó es el ritmo rápido de la serie, no te da tiempo a aburrirte y para mí eso es muy importante. El único problema es que es un poco larga, tiene 6 temporadas de más de veinte episodios cada una, por eso el ritmo rápido es tan importante.  //  A lot of plots. A lot of things happen in each episode. One of the things I liked best was the fast rythm of the series, you don't get a chance to get bored and for me that's really important. The only negative thing it's that it is a bit long, it has 6 seasons with more than twenty episodes each of them, that's why fast rythm is important.
